The SAFE board have agreed that we want to associate purple color and stroke across Europe. Using the same color in our materials will tie our work together across languages. Shared use of purple also makes it easier for us to adapt each others’ materials and share it from one country to another, from one language to another.
We would like to invite our members and other supporters to start using purple color and support this decision. (more…)
The German Stroke Foundation has a new home. After 13 months of rehabilitation time this stroke support organisation took over officially the building in Schulstraße 22, Gütersloh, provided by the Bertelsmann Foundation. This foundation has bought the house in May 2015 at the initiative of Liz Mohn, founder and president of Stroke organisation from the town of Gütersloh. (more…)
The Catalan’s Stroke Foundation stroke awareness campaign starts
The tent and Stroke panel Catalonia will be on a road trip over Catalonia from September to December 2016 in order to inform and increase sensibility of the general population about the disease, reminding that stroke is preventable and treatable. (more…)
This year’s SAFE Working Conference and General Assembly was held in Amsterdam, Nederlands, from 7-8th December. The number of delegates exceed 90 people, from more than 26 European countries.
The European Stroke Awareness Day is the second Tuesday in May every year. This year, it is 9th May.
SAFE is launching the Burden of Stroke Report on 11th May. The launching event is happening in the EU Parliament, with the endorsement of several members of the Parliament.
Here we will be posting the information on how SAFE members plan to raise awareness of stroke in May.
